Was considering a Christopher Ward during the recent sales but in the process of researching discovered that Chris has left his previous partnership and joined forces with his three sons and created a new brand called TRIBUS. I thought I’’d pick one up in their sale and I must say, the quality has been exceptional for the price paid. Loving it.

I had a look at the website a few weeks ago, half considered one of the small-seconds watches but they were all gone. Just had a look again and they're available... for pre-order... Not sure I'm willing to go that route with them, a company that mysteriously changes name, goes into administration and holds a sale with 70% off everything probably isn't the best place to drop some cash.

I also shared your concerns but once I spoke with one of the directors I felt safe in investing cash in buying watches from them. I have three in total with two of them on route.

I picked up a black dial small seconds and a Liverpool design in red. If the others are as good as the 02 I’ll be more than happy.
