Definitely agree that a white dial seems to work well in the summer months, or as a holiday watch. Probably because many of them seem to go well with bright coloured and/or rubber straps. I only have a couple but have been enjoying this a lot in recent weeks....

My well-worn I-series Panerai 114 on an extremely well-worn (12 years-old, perhaps) Don Ginsler strap.

(This is also my first photo upload for several years...)

This looks a lot nicer in the flesh...I've just googled it cos I liked your photo and had to double check; the "official" pictures really don't do it justice.

Depends if you see it as white dial or silver.

The Great White debate - A summers dial?

And another (surely the only Great White?). Note photo taken up a ski slope in February…not just a summer thing!…

Never realised there were so many Great Whites on the forum. We must have the bulk of them 😉

Good to see it on Hirsch Robby, have often wondered about that combo.

Just a couple for me, the Damasko is the worry free every day wear and the Fortis for when I want to be reminded to take life less seriously.

The Great White debate - A summers dial?

Bought the Nomos club mainly for its readability when I haven’t got my glasses at hand, but it’s a great Allrounder

I'm down to just a few white(ish) dialled watches:

I always love the idea of a white (or light) dial watch, especially for the summer but when I get them I seem to move them on again pretty quickly, not sure if they are for me. Having said that, the one that I have really bonded with and love wearing is the Sarb035 - classic size and design and the off white dial looks great with casual summer clothes I think.

Love the De Bethune, the Nomos and the Panoreserve . . . .

My best white dial though is a model (IMHO) of style, simplicity and legibility. I was lucky to buy it on SC -- and it's going nowhere; love it.

This has always made for a good summer-time watch.

They all look great in the sunshine.

This is mine and it’s currently available on SC at this very moment!
