Noticed the yellow stripe on the left and recognised it as a tube station. Some trial and error ... and arrived at the conclusion that this is Holborn Station. Can you confirm if I'm mistaken?

Bowfell is a favourite of mine. But this is the more modest Wansfell above Ambleside. A 30 minute slog up there gives you wonderful views all the way down Windermere

Right, I've given up trying to make this difficult so this should be fairly easy for those with top notch internet skills. However what I would also like is the name on the street sign in front of which I was standing. That should delay you by 30 seconds.

As Bon Jovi nearly sang, you are half way there. Just the name on the sign on the wall that I am leaning against.

PS I think that it may be somewhere that I have visited, but the line was covered in snow at the time. Can you post a letter to Santa there?

Can sit on his lap if you like.

You are right. Arctic circle at Rovaniemi. SantaPark they call it. I took the pic a month ago when I was in Lapland. I thought waiting a month before posting would make it less obvious.

Supposedly the origin of "A Cock and Bull Story", although that could be a cock and bull story.
