    Girard Perregaux WWTC: Running erratic

    Hi chaps,

Have a bit of an issue with a recently (2-years back) serviced GP WWTC.

    - Sent it in for a service 2 years back cause it was running really fast (magnetised - didn't know better, subsequently bought a china demagnetiser)
    - Worn the watch sparingly over the years, maybe once every 2-3 months
    - It'll run really really fast for the first day or two at +1 to 2 hrs per day; takes a week of wrist time to slow down.. Been wearing it daily for the past 2-3 days and its now at +15 mins a day

Checked against a compass, no signs of magnetism after a few passes thru the demagnetiser.

Anyone experienced such such peculiarity before?

    Rgds,
    Dan95

Maybe not fully serviced? Has it been dropped? What do you mean by "A few passes thru the demagnetiser"? Have you demagnetised the watch correctly?

Full service 2 yrs back thru GP at a cost of £700.

Sparingly worn since - never dropped it.

Used the video as a reference point. Also did it 3 times - doesnt move the compass needle now.

    Odd eh?
