I really liked the look of these when the mailshot came out and was close to ordering one on the spot, but the more pictures I look at the more I just see "Christopher" written in big text across the watch face. I'd need to see one in the flesh, but that doesn't seem to be an option around here. Will probably change my mind just as the discount expires!

Sorry to bump an old thread, but my white dialled GMT on the #Tide ocean plastic strap arrived last week. Although at first I was slightly underwhelmed, I quickly grew to LOVE it, and it hasn’t left my wrist since.

The finishing is excellent throughout. Despite some people’s concern, the GMT hand is bang on the hour. Accuracy is about -4spd so far. Oh, and the lume is gorgeous, especially in those half light situations. My only criticism is the strap, it’s a little tough, but is slowly softening up. I think I’m going to stick it on an orange Zuludiver tropic.

I’ll attempt to get some decent pictures of it in the sunshine later, but they probably won’t do it justice.

Oh, and the Christopher Ward name on the dial is barely noticeable. It’s certainly not a deal breaker!

Mine arrived the other day, like you I was slightly underwhelmed at first but after I switched to a Barton rubber I was soon hooked.

I've never been keen on the trident on the seconds hand but it's not noticeable and although I'd prefer their little flag logo the Christopher ward doesn't spoil it for me.


I've been taken by the finishing, really can't fault it. Think I'll order a bracelet when they're in stock again.
