Unless things have changed in the last few years since I did mine, yes they do, with a corner chopped off.
Can’t find a definitive answer online, when I renew my expired passport at the post office they will send the old one with the application. Do they return this with the new passport?

Yes, you get the expired one returned in a separate delivery after you receive the new one.

We got our nipper his new blue one recently, first impression was they look and feel cheaper, more flimsy... which is a let down.
Thanks all. I’ll pop down the post office and send it off. It sounds silly but it has lots of visas and stamps which are sentimental.
Yes, they do but you must tick the box for the return ( with the corner off) and pay £5 for postage.
Got mine recently.
If any visas are still valid and you want to use them again, you’ll have to renew in person, and tell them not to cut the corner on the relevant pages. I have to do this every time for my US I and O visas.
