And that's the shop closed for another week!

How many PRS 30's were sold today? I am guessing 26.

My lovely wife has treated me to one. Now would it be wrong to put it on a green NATO?

Can you get a 24mm NATO?

Not that I want one. Just wondering.

I ordered a 24" rhino with bronze hardwear which unfortunately arrived after I sold my brass Maranez Layan. Not sure it'll suit the more 'dressier' PRS-30 though...

I took the plunge yesterday. I ordered at 9:20, but haven't got my dispatch e-mail yet. I was really hoping to get it today. This is my first TF watch. I also ordered the PRS-29a for SWMBO. So second TF watch should arrive in the same package.

    I'm very excited.

I'm no expert, but you may have some difficulty fitting a 24" strap between the lugs. I would like to see the photos though! :-)

    On the way!

Adding up, this must be the 8th Precista watch I have bought, not including the SBIII LE or two vintage Precistas. I have flipped a few though....largely to pay for others.

It has arrived. Now I will have to wait two weeks until I go back to the office.

BTW, Sheffield-Madrid in less than 24 hours. I ordered the watch around 9 am and arrived at Madrid before midday. Not bad....

I got so excited about this watch had to register for the forum. I managed to get my order in yesterday for the PRS-30, haven't felt this level of expectation for a while now.

I'm way behind having ordered mid-morning yesterday. Quite handy really as it gives me time to source a strap.

I ship all orders in the order they were received with no favouritism. I've shipped 29 watches in 2 days and the next order to be shipped was placed at 8:41 yesterday.

I just got done over for AUD$198 tax and customs clearance. That's put the watch over $1500 now, so I am happy that you are all ecstatic about it (as will I, when it gets here).

Oh well, we only turn 40 (or other year, for that matter) once.

Having said that, it's still way cheaper than similarly constructed equivalents, which, being the case for just about all Eddie's watches and when also considering scarcity of these pieces, represents great value.

    Eddie,
Any chance of making the PRS-30 straps readily available to purchase from Timefactors?

I like them so much it's a distinct possibility and in smaller sizes too. In fact I like them so much, I might buy the company :-) (older members might recognise this).

Slightly smaller straps would be a god send. Those straps are lovely.

Have worn my PRS30 all day at work and towards the end of the day it nearly slipped round my wrist so it is too loose for me on the tightest notch!

A 120/70 version of the brown strap would be most welcome if it became available.

The supplied strap is great, I'm sad I can't really use it.

A 130 80 on my PRS 20 is fine for a 6.75 inch wrist so the extra hole option is a possibility if I can find someone with OEM tooling to punch that extra hole. Can anyone help?

I could do with an extra hole on the leather strap too.... I am tempted to use my mate Stan but I am worried about messing it up!

A friend of mine really likes the watch and would buy one if there were an extra hole or 2 on the strap. The straps are really nice and soft, it's a shame not use them.

The problem with adding extra holes to these straps is that the buckle will be around the side of the wrist.

I don't complain. I have fat wrists and the supplied straps are just fine for me with the buckle tang in the middle hole. I often have to bypass nice straps because they are to short. Often I have had to get a new strap as the first thing when getting a new watch. But the PRS-30 was a nice surprice for me in that respect.

Whatever, the length of the supplied straps shouldn't get between anyone and an otherwise fine watch. There are lots of straps out there in shorter lengths.

You can get a decent alternative strap for £20 or so so the length of the supplied straps really shouldn't be a barrier for what is a great watch.
