That looks better than hoped for. The date window looks perfectly aligned between 4 and 5 and the second hand looks better without a circular or square end. The strap looks just as chunky as it needs to be. Just waiting for price confirmation now and then the breathless wait can commence!

...great watch. I hope the strap is longer than the one on the Italian. I need a longer .....would be really bad not to use this beauty :-(

Do you offer options for strap sizes or will they all be XL?

Not really. Self made holes and an excessive tail are seldom a good look. You don't buy a watch as pretty as this for the strap to look crap on your wrist. Either way it went one of us would have been looking at factoring in the cost of a new strap.

Is the strap straight cut or tapered, Eddie?

I'm looking forward to seeing how the leather and bronze will age on this, I think it'll mature very nicely.

Well, looks like many dreams/wishes/wants/desires and hopes will be answered within a few weeks (depending on supplier promises being kept).

It is an exciting time for Eddie's supporters, isn't it.

This bronze 30 is the duck's guts in the date at 4.5 configuration, and the Dread GMT is a burster.

Trigger finger poised for both and I am looking forward to being officially broke soon!

Do we know what the size of this beauty is going to be yet?

I have seen Eddies picture of the watch on a graph which seems to indicate that it is about 40mm.

My intention had been to go for the Smiths diver when it comes out but I am really tempted by this bronze beauty. Can I afford both? Do I a raid the slowly growing Pam fund.

This is the first of Eddie's creations I have seen that I really like and it to me it looks good on the brown and the black strap.
I would be very interested in buying this with both straps if that is possible.
Also have you looked into any bracelets available that would look good on this?

I don't think anyone has made a bronze bracelet. PVD might be the best option.

It comes with both the black and brown strap plus one bronze buckle. I've never seen a bronze bracelet.

Judging by the reaction, I don't think you will struggle to sell out of at least the first 150 in a flash. Or will you be putting all 300 up for order?

  44. #644
I love the crown, not sure on the white tip second hand. edit.. is it lume? Cant tell on my tablet!
Still, what a lovely looking watch!

I'd have to sell something to get one :( :(

Showed the pictures to a collegue of mine and he said the bronze looks like as it is on fire, especially on the picture where it is on the grit paper for measurements.
    Such an amazing material !
The bronze PRS-30 and the complete combo WITH TWO lovely beefy straps AND already with One bronze buckle paired with a tasty brown dial AND a bronze crown:
Eddie, that watch is is not for modders or strap changers, its spot on right from the start.

    Congrats Eddie, another winner!

Like the DN the PRS-30 has proved that you can design and produce a watch from scratch that not only compares with, but beats the established names hands down. I had never considered a bronze watch before and like so many am waiting for a glimpse of the DN GMT but this is so so tempting.

    Congrats again,

    Michael

Aaaargh! Just when the Mrs decided to count how many watches I have (whilst obviously bored one day) and decided that I have 'quite a lot'! The way she said it was like it was some sort of problem or something...wimmin!
Congratulations Eddie on what must be the finest Precista to date.
