Ah, OK. On the presumption that all straps will be XL, can anyone suggest somewhere to get a good quality, shorter strap for this beauty? There's no way that I'm ditching that buckle.

Toshi would seem a natural choice. :-)

    **edit**
My mistake: He does not do tapered straps as far as I know. Sorry.

Not as far as I'm aware, hence my question. I guess a Hirsch Liberty would do the trick whilst I look further into this.

OK Eddie, nice to see all the pictures and all that but have you decided when you will be listing this on the website so those of us interested in it can at last wear one....... before I get hooked on something else?!

Waiting for the booklet to be printed, shouldn't be long. I could do my usual tri-fold leaflet but this deserves better.

Sounds fair enuff Eddie, but could you get it up and running on the website and get some reddies rolling in?
Then get the watch ready for those who have paid you, ready for posting when the leaflet arrives?

The more I see of it, the more I want one.

I think they're going to sell very quickly.

I ordered a 24mm bronze buckle from Bradj over on WUS for £29.30 delivered. Arrived in about a week!

    http://anchorleather.net/buckles.html

The black and brown leathers that come with the PRS30 look great but I have an OCD that means I have to spend at least a further 25% of the value of any new watch I buy, on straps!

Price indication? Or are we going to have to wait until release day? :)

The approach to whip us all into a fever pitch with splendid photographs, tantalising glimpses of extraordinary packaging and suggestions of a better than normal booklet suggests a final big reveal on launch day.

It would be good for my health to know just when launch day is though. Not sure my heart can take the strain for much longer!

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, examples of which are having to wash ones hands every five minutes or walking through a doorway with ones left eye closed or arranging items just so on ones desk. I have a sister with OCD who obsesses about cleanliness to the point that she whips a mug out of your hand the second you have finished drinking to wash it up. A friend also has it and her obsession is to start the day with a trip to a particular point on a road near her village. If she doesn't take the trip, she can't settle into anything and becomes agitated. A very strange and debilitating condition.

The booklet's gone off to the printer this morning. It's possible the PRS-30 will go on the site next weekend.

As Eddie is only just coping with the PRS-68 orders (and has removed the watch from sale now as a result), I'm not sure releasing another watch this weekend is a good idea... just sayin'.

There is nothing better than a good long foreplay. From the sales point of view coming weekend would be perfect as the paycheck arrived......:D

D'oh! This weekend is great but if it's next weekend I'm going to need to broke SHMBO into accepting that cancelling our hoilday so I'm around to place an order is a good idea!

Remember that Eddie only opens for orders Tue-Thu so a weekend release is just a tease...

  37. #737
Jumping the gun as usual I've already had a new strap made which should be here early next week.
Looks like I've got Bronze fever already!

My missus asked my earlier this week why I'd put 'Brasso' on the shopping list! I think she's expecting me to start spring cleaning...

The PRS-30 looks like the same dimensions as my Maranez Layan and I found that very comfortable on my 6.75" wrist.

Page is up - so next Tuesday is "B" day then.
Looks stunning in the pictures and interesting to see the progression in the design.

No price up yet, just hope I can afford one...

That's a pain! It's the day of my Mum's funeral. I hope they don't sell out instantly.

If you feel like putting one aside for me Eddie, that would be great. That's assuming I can afford it.

  47. #747
Getting closer! So which is correct Eddie- 1.5mm crystal or 2.2mm? ;-)

It's not on the front page.

Select "Brands" then "Precista" & you'll see it.

I guess we've got to wait until Tuesday for the price as well? Surely it's been decided by now?
