    PSA Garmin Solar Instinct

If you don't mind "Orchid", Amazon has the Solar Instinct at £231.30 as I type - I'm unsure if that's Prime-only, though.

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B089NY5D56/

£300 is a typical price for these, though I've seen them at £280-ish recently.

Looks like a watch with lots of functions to me. Thanks for the heads up.

No problem at all, it's an interesting point. It's very similar in function to the G-Shock GBD-H1000, for which a dedicated threat also exists in Watch Talk - and it's eminently usable as an everyday timepiece. Like the GBD-H1000 it has a crisp, clear MIP display, is USB-chargeable and solar-assisted, has basic smartwatch functions (notifications / texts etc) and can be used to record tracks and timings for running / cycling and other activities, and to share these on Strava and other services.

I do use my non-solar Instinct and my GBD-H1000 for regular wristwatch duties sometimes.

Well - I received mine about an hour ago and I honestly quite like the colour. I really wanted the Lichen Camo model but wasn't going to pay another £90.

That's a good deal for one of these.

I picked up a mint 5S Plus the other day from eBay for £180 which I'm currently working out. Garmins 'winter' sale as they called it was crap this year everything was pretty much available elsewhere for less.
