Oh yeah, and this.....
This.....
Though it never gets ridden as kids and the lifeboat take up too much time !
Oh yeah, and this.....
Prefer bikes but cars are ok too...Harley 2003 Super Glide Sport, 1550cc, Billet brakes (NOW it stops!) and my trusty Volvo D5 S60 auto-lots of motorway driving :(
cheers

Travelling around Lake Garda..
On the way back, via Stelvio..
Ovlov on the drive..
Hi guys some lovely machines there..
Nice to see a few bikes as well...the Laverda especially..my passion lies with another Italian..well two actually...
The shot of me on the ST3 (the red one) was taken in Austria about 10 days ago. A glorious country in my opinion.
oh and I like my cars as well :) It's not my drive, but it's the best picture I have of her.
On the work computer at the mo, so no pic I'm afraid,
Mine- Chrysler 300c CRD in black, Brabus tuned Startech SD6 chip fitted. 2 ton of diesel luxury with sub 6 sec 0-60 and 35mpg.
Wife- Kia Sorrento in black.
No toy at the moment, sold the last toy a year ago, a 1972 mk1 1600 GT Capri special. Guess what, black as well.
Seems to be a black theme running in my car buying. No bloody wonder I always seem to be washing cars!!!

As my Integra DC2 had some serious engine issues a little while ago, I got myself a BMW 528i E39 to tide myself over for a few months until I can find something to interest me again.
In these times of silly fuel prices I'm wondering whether I'll bother getting something that will do sub 25mpg - though I yearn for another track toy

Jag X-Type 3.0SE Manual (53 reg) in Quartz with Charcoal leather - must remember to take a photo sometime - maybe after I've cleaned her .
Nice cars and bikes by the way chaps.
Cheers,
Subaru Impreza STi, although I don't go for the full on rally look, so have the Spec D version - NO big spoiler, NO gold wheels and NO rally blue paint scheme.
All go, no show :D

I just missed out on a C55 AMG because I couldn't make my mind up and by the time I did, it had gone. :(
Eddie
Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Don't know how I've missed this thread .. no pics, but I've an S3 & MGF. When home always dive the MGF as I love driving with the roof off (as it always is irrespective of date, time or weather), my better half drives the S3. Although due to a soon to be change in circumstances the S3 will have to make way for a more sensible 5 door A3.
/vince ..
One of these until I moved back to the UK at Xmas. It's a Chevvy Camaro Z28, 5.7L V8 (Though mine didn't have T-Tops). I was going to import it but decided to sell it a couple of months ago. :(
Now I have something a little more economical, a Renault Clio 1.2! :D (Dreadful cars by the way! Always breaking down! )
It's okay, the C63 AMG is faster :POriginally Posted by swanbourne

And one of these...............
And a Volvo V40..........but I wouldn't waste my pixels on that
They are gorgeous, saw one over here (Stockholm) a week or so back. I've also seen a white one in an area called Saltsjöbaden, but it was just sitting in amongst some vegetation ..Originally Posted by lysanderxiii

I went out in this with Andy on a 'drying' Brands on a wet Monday morning a couple of weeks ago, this car is very, very fast and Andy certainly likes to press on. By lunchtime the track had a clear dry line, Andy was at '99% attack' mode.Originally Posted by andy tims

Wow some really incredible cars here.
For me, an R32. Debadged, but for some reason the honda civic guys, still hassle me.
that bit about the gt3 made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end
Thanks,
Andrew

1967 Yenko Camaro – Blue – Being reworked, and Resto-Modded.
2010 Chevy Camaro, pre-ordered, color unknown, but would like Blue.
Projects in the back yard, 1967 Camaro…soon to be auctioned off.
Izuzu Trooper, started out to be an extreme 4x4, rod in engine was thrown, and I stopped, soon to be auctioned off.
Under litigation, 1972 365 GTS/4
Soon, to be this, once completed, LC 470 in Blue…

I really need to mow the lawn more.
I expect Andy will be rather familiar with that vid, it's frequently referred to by GS'ers. :wink:Originally Posted by Hackett.dp

It is a modern version of an old Lister, but safer, more fun to drive, and drivable.
My cars are eclectic with no real rhyme or reason, except for raw horsepower.
Insurance companies like mine who specialize in vintage, collector cars states that any collectable worth over a certain dollar amount cannot be driven more than a 100 miles per year…then there is the parts issue.
Martin,
Wow, I did not even know they have these in Diesel as least it gets good gas mileage, and probably easier to fix, being a M/B engine!
Look like the American Hemi Version! Good looking, I have seen a few of them heavily modified, and they are sweet!

Yes, I have heard, and lusted after that beast…I love the A/C’s my neighbor has a CSX 4000. Fun to drive!
I remember when it came out in 2006, and they said only 15 would be built! In addition, the price I think was close to 600,000 Euros, worth every penny.
That is what I like raw horsepower, no frills, just raw horsepower. It’s a beauty, which becomes a beast.
I have always liked old cars, always liked the 1958 Lister Corvette, and Jaguars. And seen a lot of clones, this captured the body spirit, it’s not really a Vette, and it’s not a Jag…
What drew me to it was I liked that it had its own style, familiar but was different…and it had all modern interpretations of the old way of driving, no frill raw horsepower, and hand built.
I think you will enjoy reading about it!

John
My SECOND vehicle 8) :D
If only I had the Cash a 10 Tonne Unimog!
First vehicle  pic borrowed.
I have just given my car to my eldest son. I have owned just about everything at one time or another and a couple of years ago i went to the Classic Car show at the NEC. In the hall there were four cars that i had owned. Not models but the actual vehicle!! I have wasted a LOT of money on cars. AND boats. They are a passion i have had fom being a child but i now prefer to just look at them and not have to worry about the insurance/tax/maintenance etc.
The car i gave away? Mitsubishi :D My son collects it on Saturday and he has been on the 'phone every day, twice a day since i told him he can have it. normally he only calls me up when the end of the month is approaching and he can't quite make it :D
Oh the joy of youth!
My bike - "Ordonanzrad 05", 22,5 Kg of Swiss quality.
Mine is dating from the early 50s I think. When I do not fly or use the
excellent Swiss trains, that is my choice for distances under 5km...
Ride in style, economic, ecologic and the girls love it, too.
What do you want more? :D
