In which case he’s a thief. Absolutely despicable behaviour.
    100% this.

@mr.chef- May I ask, why didn't you post a Villian report in H&V? You have submitted 3 x 'Hero' posts for him so it would've been in the interests of a balanced view (and to alert others...).

I rely on H&V, for a balanced view of folk, before engaging any kind of deal.

That is fairly damning! I'm guessing that no £1,000 went into the fundraiser either?

Unless I have misread things, mr.chef made the donation but the item was never sent.

My experience was similar. An item 'donated' for a fundraiser. Vinstink got plaudits in the thread for being charitable but the goods never turned up.

Posting a villian thread just wasn't worth the stress of being jumped on by the members who would have rallied around to defend their cheap phone supplier.

Just want to add before people start creating their own scenarios.

I never took money from mr.chef for an iPad.
It will have gone into the fundraiser.

I also wasn’t aware that it had not completed.
I have PMd mr.chef and said as such and that I will arrange it to be completed.

Understand I upset people. Not looking to explain what was going on previously.

    However I’m not a thief.

Whilst not wishing to continue what has become a bit of a witch-hunt, I’m curious to know how you can be unaware of whether you sent him the iPad or didn’t?

Understand I upset people and that’s fine. Not looking to explain what was going on previously.

It's fine to upset people? You are D. Trump and I claim my £5.

When I offered items for the fundraiser usually I had them sent direct, people rarely confirm receipt unless there is a problem

Another dilemma is whether to remind someone to leave feedback. You might inadvertently poke a wasps nest particularly if it turns out they weren’t happy. Sleeping dogs paradox
