AP Royal Oak - Rubber strap options

I have today just got an AP RO Chrono on a bracelet, and thinking of getting a rubber strap.

I’ve seen rubberB do one, but it looks like the one that fits only has a Velcro fastener.

Are there any other options for a rubber strap that fits the AP RO (41mm) with bracelet, but comes with standard clasp/buckle?

    Thanks In advance

Hey. There is a site offering all sorts of options - not rubberB of course. http://www.apbands.com. It is US based but do international shipping.

Don't see many APs in this parish - do you wish to share any details / pics?

I’ve wanted a new strap for mine, the thinner 20mm one but I’m way too scared to put an aftermarket strap on in case it broke

The bracelet is stunning, a thing of beauty in its own right

I believe that you can get an OEM kit for this. Brutally expensive but still worth it !

    For OEM conversion you’d need
    4x plots around £36
    4x plot screws £5ish
    2x strap screws £5ish
A deployant... at around £530 (or any 18mm pin buckle iirc, unless is a ROO which uses a 24 or 20mm diver tang buckle)

The plots/screws are cheap, the clasp is the killer, unless you have a spare

Then a strap which is around £250-£300 from AP
As an example, Last strap i bought (last week) was a purple rubber for a the 42, and it was £270

My mistake, the standard AP Deployant is for 18mm straps, so any 18mm pin buckle would work, just measure a rubber for you.

and the strap ends on an AP strap, nothing fancy, takes a regular pin buckle

Horus straps also do some good rubber options and the quality is excellent.

    Thanks all.

I’ll try and get some pictures up tomorrow (never know how to do on an iPhone!!).

The bracelet is indeed a thing of beauty and very comfy, but I’d like the option of changing every now and again.
