Today there has been 13 posts By Skyman with the “F” word used inappropriately and it seems out of character for Simon.
Any have a way to contact him so he check his TZ account has not been compromised.

It would be far more likely that his account had been hacked if he was being nice or humble.
From the posts I’ve read he’s just said some of what I was thinking, some of the Newbie posts are getting a bit too much and almost forcing the conversation add in its part of the new Rolex feeding frenzy and my cringe lines are getting deeper..

Exactly, almost every post since the account logged on earlier this evening has purposely had a profanity in it. Out of character even for Skyman.
Skyman is definitive proof that money doesn’t make you happy. I genuinely hope he’s ok - bizarre behaviour even for him
Well I hope his account has been hacked rather than a bad mental state, pretty sure he has had other rants on other forums like the Piston Heads episode..
I know a lot of people find his short sharp comments are too much but there is something I find appealing about his curt nature, probably a bit of fresh air from the stifling PC climate that’s taken over the planet.

As said by murkywaters, I think he has a history with this sort of thing.

Please never say that about anyone. It has to be the oldest and most unoriginal quip used on the internet. To be honest, I often think it is being used by someone who is under the influence themselves, hence the use of this rather dull little insult.

Apparently burnsey66 was a good guy face to face in yet he upset many a forum member.
Regardless, I try to not judge too early as often I find people are better in person rather than behind a keyboard, but I get we are unlikely to meet each other here and have to somewhat judge on forum conduct.

There’s been some hacked accounts on SC recently and these posts all seem designed to get an immediate ban so benefit of the doubt and hope he’s been hacked.
The difference here though would be ..... the previous hacker accounts were outsiders trying to scam. This would be a TZ member with a grudge.
All a bit odd and I’m sure one way or another we will be clearer in the morning.

I don’t really know Simon, but I recognise his often direct and pithy style, and the swearing is very out of character. If it isn’t an account hack, then I hope he is OK

Hmm I was a bit angry at him yesterday and made my mind known... hope I wasn't ranting at someone in a bad way over something else.
It's easy to forget everyone has lives behind the screen and their own stuff going on in the 'real' world.
There was a definite shift in his posts from 7pm onwards, clearly looking to break the swearing rules and insult Eddie.
This being a Friday, he’s probably had a couple of drinks, sat at his computer, thought “I’ve had enough of TZ, let’s see if I can get banned”.
Why, I have no idea. Then again we never really know what goes on...look at soundood...member for years, rips someone off for about £20 and disappears completely but was still active on another hi-fi forum but did the same to that shortly afterwards.

If it not hacked then you can’t really let that kind of chat go without action in watch talk though. Regardless of reason. Just sets a precedent that it’s ok to do. Imho of course.
If it’s him (and not hacked), it certainly seems the actions of someone either calling for attention (which has been achieved) or poking the hornets nest to get reaction. I hope the reasons are not sinister but more likely he’s just pissed off and venting his spleen. Likely will regret his actions with hindsight. Anyway, I’m sure it wont be the last you hear of him.

Wasn't just last night though. He has been throwing sarcastic comments at newer members for a few days now followed by the failed attempt to have a go at them in the bear pit. I'm inclined to agree with Hood, I thought last night was pushing some sort of self destruct button. That seems to have failed as well as getting banned seems almost impossible these days.
