Rolex Sub Hulk x Watches of Switzerland x Celtic???

I've been made aware that Watches of Switzerland offered 50 Rolex Hulks for the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions winning the European Cup back in 2017 - these were engraved with a Celtic crest.

I'd never heard of these - has anyone else? I'm wondering if it was an aftermarket engraving which isn't all that interesting (other than them having 50 Hulks for sale at once!) or if they've got them done by Rolex almost like the Khanjar pieces, which would be very interesting indeed

Anyone able to shed any light?

There was a Rolex Daytona put together for the Chelsea squad after they won the Champions League. I think that was aftermarket rather than by Rolex. You can find pictures of that on Google. I think it had a CL crest and the Chelsea badge in the sub dials.

I think Steven Gerrard even did a limited edition Seadweller at one point. Quite why anyone other than him or his family would actually wear one is beyond me.

Most of these things tend to be done by people other than Rolex.

This Rolex option may have been more refreshing.

To buy one of these you had to also make a donation to the Celtic Foundation, £3600 bringing to total to £10k. Both WOS and Rolex UK also donated all profits to the foundation.
