I think I've found my favourite Sub

I was recently lucky enough to pick up a 2012 4 liner 14060m. To me it's the pefect combination of a 14060, 16610, 16600 and 114060. It looks great on the wrist and its nice that you don't see many around.

    What's your favourite Sub?

For a 5 or 6 digit I think that would be my favourite Sub too.

Congrats on your purchase. Looks in excellent condition.

Pound for pound, it is the 114060 for me. It will stand the test of time, largely for the same reasons some dislike it today. Chunky lugs mean it does not fit more modest wrist circumferences too well, but after several polishes a decade or three from now it will still look brand new (and chunky).

5 digit subs can probably handle 2-3 polishes before looking really quite bad. Correct me if i am wrong!

Hasn't this question been asked many times before?

When I saw the title of this thread, I really hoped it was going to be about this model:

The proportions of this 39mm version are just perfect, no? Lovely :chefkiss:

I've not seen one of those before! That is stunning. How old is it?

Congratulations on the pick up. Prefer this case shape to the newer one.

I actually think the 114060 is pretty and almost dressy and suits smaller wrists quite nicely. I had one until last month. It wore nicely on my 7.5 inch wrists too. Chunky isn’t what I would have called it though. Lovely watch. Nobody is wrong we just have different opinions :) enjoy.

Yes. But just in case there’s any doubt it’s still the 14060M 2 Liner..

Nice Submariner. My favourite is the 16610. Prefer the slimmer case, and generally prefer a date.

My Milsub is a favourite to look at but not having a date feature means I prefer wearing my 1680.

It was a shame the ducks didn't line up on that MF 5513, but you certainly won't see another of those in the wild.

Personally, I would say no, but there are people on here with 5 Kermits or a box full of Seadwellers, so I'm guessing many would say yes.
