That’s great! I have a couple of the regular ones, and knew about the fabled gold ones from the adverts, great to see the they really did exist.
I know there are a few Scubapro enthusiasts on here and vintage diver fans in general, so I thought you may be interested to know that the long fabled gold Scubapro 500 does actually exist.
There are discussions around as to whether this watch was ever produced as the adverts suggest (not 100's of discussions, let's not get it twisted, solid gold vintage divers will always be a niche market!), so here's a real example.
There's a bit more info about it on my blog here <-- about half way down, the post was originally written in 2014.
Rich.
PS... it's not mine.

That really is random AF! Who'd a thunk a specialist diver would come like that other than from one of the big names.
Miss my 'basic' 500, such a wonderful solid design.
Wow.
Bold move from such a tiny manufacturer.

That is rather cool
I have seen the articles claiming they exist and I thought I had seen a picture or two but not with the blue dial and bezel. I don’t like gold watches but I could wear that.
Thanks for sharing

I spotted a guy wearing a gold & blue Submariner this afternoon (dunno the type #). I realized that I don't like that combination. And then this comes along... I like it! And more or less what the others said: I would not turn it down and yes, I would wear it.
