Why can't i open the top link?

This seems to be happening a lot lately, if i click on a forum thread then the top link sometimes the top 2 links i cannot click on?

    Anyone else having this problem?

Occasionally if using one of our iPads, but not when using the other.

Strangely its doing it only in the George & Dragon and Time Factors forum?

Absolutely! Only on my desktop PC. It’s the most odd thing - always the top two. Can’t remember whether it’s only on certain of the forums.

Mine too. But I refresh the page and am quick with my click, it will work.

Yes on Chrome, W10 and on a laptop on the first 2 but my tablet started tonight on the first link. When that link moves to number 3 it opens

Same for me on Android. The only solution I've found is to switch to the mobile version of the site.

    Same here on iPad.
I access the last post (top link) via the forum front page.

Been like it for months, I find the refresh doesn’t work but going back to forum view and clicking on the topic as it appears under the forum sub forum title or clicking if you see it on the right hand column of recent posts. The other way is to click on the user if you see them listed further down the forum and hit ‘recent posts’. This on iPad/Mac safari.
If it ever gets fixed I’ll probably miss this feature!

I had it as well for a while on Chrome desktop, I think I remember it being an advert - I tracked down the covering div in Chrome dev tools and removed it from the DOM to enable me to click on the link.

Yep, after a break, it’s started doing it again...

    Very annoying.

If you click the link within a couple of seconds of opening the page or refreshing it it works.
So clever my foot fell off.

    Me to. On an iPad.
Have to get very inventive to view some posts.

    I can see them.
So write the posters name or thread title in the search.

    Big windup.
Think it happened about the same time as the bloody great big advert appeared below TZ-UK Fundraiser.

Same issue with MacOS 10.13/14 and Chrome, however seems to work with Safari.

  29. #29
Same for me on W10 and chrome, OSX (latest) and Chrome. Not happened on phone but I tend not to use it much on the phone so probs not noticed.

I'll second that, that sodding video ad that pops up in the bottom left hand corner drives me mad, i'd rather pay a subscription every year and go ad-free...
