    SBBN015 - 11 years on....

After 11 years (5 years indicated battery life!) of solid service....my trusty dive companion needed a new battery.

Fresh battery, new gaskets, pressure test and some TLC. It is now rearing (as am I!) for many more underwater adventures :).

To me, there is no better Professional dive watch. Now I just need to source some OEM Seiko parts. Can you provide reliable source? I used up the OEM new ones I had. I also stripped the head of the allen bolts. I need:

    Caseback gasket
    Crystal (L-Shape) Gasket
    Bezel Gasket
    Crown O-ring
Shroud screws x 3 qty. (allen head)

    Thanks in advance :)

Wonderful watches - I’m wearing my 007 as I type.

I have a real weakness for the Tuna, I haven't owned a watch at all for well over a year apart from my Garmin Forerunner 935 sports watch but I have got the chance of an unworn navy blue Tuna and I am sorely tempted to get it :)

The 300M Tunas battery life is quite something, installed new battery in my Dime MD Tuna last year.

First battery change since it was released in 2010.

I replied over on your WUS Seiko thread, but to repeat myself ;-)

I'm sat here with mine on today, you're absolutely spot on it's an awesome watch. I've only owned mine for a year (was lucky enough to pick this one up from Dave aka j111dja here on TZ) but have owned an Emperor Tuna previously, the size on these 300m Tunas just works better for me, plus the grab and go convenience of the Quartz is great.

Glad to see that yours is still bringing you joy and putting a smile on your face after 11 years of ownership.

A recent pic of my watch on a Rubber BC Nato.

You have to love a Tuna

For new shroud screws contact Andrew Stockley at tunascrews@gmail.com

He does all types of heads and finishes, and he's a nice bloke.

Can't go wrong with a tuna. The ultimate tool watch.

I've had many Tunas and the 015 is by far my favourite and the only one I kept.

6 or so years ago I foolishly sold this exact same watch to a guy in Holland, only to buy it back a year later! I e-mailed him and told him if he'd ever consider selling it, I'd buy it back. This was just a few weeks after selling it to him.

He was a great guy and did not take advantage of me. It's staying with me now :)
