very pretty pics 8) .
And what a great collection of watches, I really love those Aquatimers.

Hi
I Have had a few new arrivals over the last few weeks and have not really had a chance to photograph those that i have decided to keep when the great watch merry-go-round stopped for me :D
1st up is the Breitling Chronospace, I really love this watch, not to big.... not to small and really comfortable to wear :) It is a cracking everyday watch and in the 5 or 6 weeks i have had it it has kept perfect time...
2nd up is the Breitling Skyland, this is my most recent arrival and i am still forming my opinion on it, My 1st impressions are that i like it and it will stay around for a while..... Its got great wrist presence and although a pretty big watch it wears remarkably comfortably.
3rd Up...... Well what can i say, those that have read my post about the 3536 will know what i think of them and this one completes the 'Gang of Three' Love it and Love them....... 8)
And finally a bit of a bonus for me this weekend........ got my Speedy Pro back from service....... my longest serving watch of over 10 years..... and i have missed it
Cheers

Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Thanks for sharing. :)
Each one is nice. My personal favourite is Breitling Skyland. :glasses7:
It seems you have a special affinity to th Aquatimer GST. From my personal point of view much better looking than the current version.
.
Yes, and that Speedy is looking gorgeous after its service.
What's the deal with the subdials on the Skyland (which is rather lovely, too)? In the first 2 pics, they look as if they are two-tone grey/black, but not in the second 2 pics. Is this just a trick of the light?
I understand how/what you feel about them - 3 of the 6 are also in my collection (Speedy; 3536 01 & 03) :D
Very, very, nice :D
There is something about the Speedy, I've never owned one, but they always look gorgeous. I tried one on at a jewellers a few years ago, and just didn't like it - I don't know why, but they always look so seductive in pics :?
Three 3536s. Thats bordering on lunacy Martin
Did the speedy go to Bienne and if so how long was the wait. I have herd stories of a 9 month wait at the moment
Cheers,
Ben

The Skyland is very nice indeed 8) (must remember to clean it next time before a photo session )Originally Posted by wombat
I really love the GST, it ticks all the boxes for me :D

Yes i really did miss my Speedy and it is looking rather nice after a bit of TLC, although i must say it came back with a couple of marks on the 12 oclock end link that it didnt go with  but my AD is getting a new one for me by way of an apology on behalf of Omega (not my AD's Fault)
The Skylands sub dial is 'ridged' on the vertical plane and when you catch the light at the correct angle it shows the subdials as a 2 tone effect..... 8)
Sounds like we have very similar tastes in watches...... they are all quality pieces 8)Originally Posted by Stanford

Nice collection, quite a bit of variety, I particularly like that Skyland. :o
Cheers Doug........The Speedy was my '1st love' so i do have rather a biased opinion...... maybe you should arrange a test drive and see if it grows on you :)Originally Posted by doug darter

It went a rather roundabout route (but thats another story) but it went to Omega UK, they quoted 40 working days and it was back with me just about withing that quoted period. Apart from the aforementioned marks on the 12 o'clock end pieces they seem to have made a rather good job of it. The watch looks very well and is gaining about 8 secs a day at the moment but is losing about the same amount face up overnight on my bedside cabinet.Originally Posted by ben4watches

Some stunning watches there Martin, the Skyland is the pick
of the bunch for me... ....... looks like a monster!!
Very nice, all of them!
I do like those large Breitling chronos, but I really don't have enough wrist to try them :(

Wow! Some nice additions there. Looks like Steve's Skyland if I'm not mistaken, that one is my favorite of your new toys.
Nice lot, the speedy is a classic, and I really like the IWCs. Breitlings are a mixed bag to me, but yours look good too. very nice
Very nice set of arrivals there :)
Cheers Steve.... thought you might like the Skyland :DOriginally Posted by shalako
Cheers Guys for the comments... :) There seems to be a lot of positive feedback re the Skyland and although it is a big watch i does wear rather smaller than its 'huge' appearance. My wrist is 7.25 inches and as you can see from the wrist shot is does not look out of place 8)

Some very nice watches there! Love both the Breitling Skyland & the SS Aquatimer, was looking for one of those myself but got way laid by the Sub No-Date ..
/vince ..
That Skyland is nice, but I just cannot abide those marker lugs that Breitling put on their bezels.

I think they're nice. And IMO they're handy when you turn the bezel....Originally Posted by magirus
Thats a very good point and actually you are quite right it does give you better grip when turning the bezel :)Originally Posted by bricktop

I appreciate that, it's just that they look sort of shoved on as an afterthought. :(Originally Posted by MartinMW

Good to see that I'm not alone with my 3536-madness,
Like the Skyland as well, but prefer the "blacksteel"-version
