    Need Advice/help from Seagull Experts

    As a bit of an 'impulse purchase' I have acquired this superb condition Seagull handwindable chrono. I know nothing about it other than it's size of 42mm exc crown and wonder if anyone can tell me more.

    Sellers pics used without permission so hope nobody gets offended.

    Seagull=Chinese but good quality.

    The chrono you have has the best Seagull movement: a replica of a Venus chrono (not have one, but they were among the best in the 1960s).

    It is a lovely watch. I was looking for something like this whilst in Beijing but find none. You have been lucky!

    Cheers

    As I've mentioned in another thread I do own an Uhr-Kraft chronograph with Seagull movement.

    I've found some interesting macro shots here:

    Seagull homepage in Chinese with a few English manifestations:
    http://www.seagullwatch.com/cn/index.html
    Mechanical watches:
    http://www.seagullwatch.com/cn/product_ ... p?kindid=2
    Unfortunately couldn't find information or pics on the movements but on complete watches only.

    Earlier production (or it's still the same, but they don't show it ... ):

    Current production:

    Well, some might find it boring ... (picked up while searching at Chinese website)

    Hi Rob, can't tell you much about the watch to be honest other than the fact that I acquired it from Ventura (Hari) a while ago.

    It is a lovely watch, but just a little too large for my wrists! Otherwise I wouldn't have got rid of it :D

    No probs using the pics, I hope that you get the info that you need!
