    Correct battery for Heuer 980.006

My Monnin cased 980 stopped last night, I assumed time for a battery change. I thought I had some spares and had at some point made a note in my diary that it takes a Renata 344 (SR1136SW) but I was surprised to open the case and find an SR43SW inside. The spare 344 I had fitted but didn't work, possibly old and flat, but I am confused. Does anyone know what the correct battery is before I order more? Couldn't find the answer here or on Google
    Many thanks

980.006 use ESA 536.121, this movement is thicker than the one used
    in a 980.006L.

    980.006L (and all with a L) use a ESA 963.114

Excellent, thank you. So it should be the 344?

The correct battery for a 536.121 is the 344 size.

Everything after this movement (such as in the L and N models) uses a 395.

If you have any other questions please let us know.

Oh, phooey! New batteries with good long expiry date didn't work. It stopped within 5 minutes. Time for a service...
