    PANERAI straps & bracelets

    Hi all,

I’m looking at different straps both leather and rubber for my PAM392, but i wouldn’t be able to distinguish a good strap from a bad one.

So I thought I’d start this thread to showcase your PAMs and what you pair them with.

I’m currently on the black leather strap with which it came straight out the box, so no worth taking a picture, but I’m looking forward to your inputs.

    Ciao, Claudio

I had a long journey with panerai straps before finally finding what I really like. IMHO there are two types that I like, the thick chunky ones and the more authentic historical ones.
For chunky I like corrigia and Toshi, with the sewn in sword type buckle. It is nice to be able to spec every last detail on the strap. I have come to like a long tail side and am happy with what I now have.
For the historical type I have found Kostas to be first class. I have one of his straps on my 721 and it looks amazing.
Then you could try canvas, rubber or NATO, which to me are good for the summer but I generally prefer the leather.
Enjoy the journey, and remember that you can NEVER have too many straps.

Never mind the straps-look at those beautiful pieces!
For straps, I like Simona and Greg Stevens.

    Nice pieces indeed!

Have you not consider some rubber option?

Start with these and buckles from Watchgecko. Then when you know exactly what you want, go for some customs.

I have never even seen a rubber strap on a wire lug radiomir, don't think it would be a good look. There was an OEM rubber strap with the 422 but I have never even fitted it.
However I have a couple of submersibles, 24 and 243, and like rubber strap for the summer on them, preferring the concertina type to the older PAM type. I also have a 49 which has a 40mm Bettarini case and it really suits a rubber strap imho.

For 392,oem rubber is the most comfortable

I also like assolutamente strap but I think there's no 22mm oem version

I like Mario Paci,Emitta (or Enitta) from Japan do make nice, thinner straps

For something more affordable probably panatime,I find their strap to be nice and affordable (look for coupon code)

Cheapestnato do make ok straps but often it's hit or miss kinda thing

Emitta with 345 and panatime with 292

I paid only $10.50 for the panatime...

The nicest strap I had for my 118 was a light cognac one from Heroic 18, was quite expensive from memory.

The calf skin Hirsch ones are nice as well

    Cheers

    Kevin
