Well, if you are already in the hospital, let them inspect your head also...
Having a procedure tomorrow that involves part of me being under an X-ray machine, obviously worried about my watch.
I know my local AD has a Milgauss in stock, maybe I should pick this up on the way to be safe?

I would suggest selotaping one of these on the face to 100% protect you.

You may also consider picking up a railmaster in case there is a waiting list for milgauss which delays your scanning.
No need to worry about X-rays on your watch. If it’s an MRI machine I’d remove it - I think they insist any metal objects are removed.
Hope you get better soon.

Lead cod piece remember. A watch is for Christmas, nads are for life.
You'll be fine! Just stay awake............!

I have a cheap Citizen for just such occasions. You may have to take it off, and hospitals are not secure. Don't wear anything of value.
Btw. My nephew is a physicist who works around x-ray devices. He doesn't wear a watch.
As long as you don't want to smuggle it in the old Papillon way :D
Get better soon!
It is xrays, worry not. Where do you think your watch goes at the search point every time you fly?
No, just take a phone. I've spent a lot of time in and around hospitals, amazing how much stuff goes missing!
Thanks for the replies chaps, the OP was of course tongue in cheek! Will be passing whatever I decide to wear to Mrs to hold onto whilst they prod around in my back!
Do x-rays give a good lume charge?
Of course the Milgaus is only designed to withstand magnetic fields, not x-rays which should pass harmlessly through.
On a more serious note , my father was robbed twice when he was in a hospital suffering from a stoke .There is little security in hospital wards .

I have a watch for visiting places where I may have to take it off the wrist, and lose sight of it. Such as a hospital.
A cheap, low risk, watch. It's also the only watch I would wear in water. My partner's Citizen accidentally went through a full cycle in the washing machine ; it was fine, and very clean.

Provided the x-ray doesn't involve you being immersed in hot soapy water you (or rather your watch) should be fine.
