    Meh - Patek false alarm

Was excited to see PP were announcing something new today. New automatic 24 for the ladies. Zzz. Hoped for something more exciting!

Make it in 38.5 mm, drop the diamonds, and there will be a watch I'd love to have (and most probably wouldn't ever buy, due to the cost).

Also if you’re a Patek owner you can currently order three old copies of the Patek magazine through the site (for free)

Wow. A study in unimaginative and cheap looking watch design.

Looks like H Samuel and Pandora got together over a quick brunch at Greggs and knocked out some 'new' designs

I agree they look a bit bland though I expect them to be finished as well as ever, which is fair enough, but from a company so hell-bent on implying that everything they do is utter perfection, I'd expect the rotor in rose gold watches to be rose gold as well.

Now there's a watch I'd happily do the dishes whilst wearing.

The gif they use as the header image really doesn't do the watch any favours - the second hand looks like it's juddering along in a really clunky way due to being in slow motion.

    I like the dial though.

Don’t really get this. So you want all the steel watches to have steel rotors? Maybe they should match the jewels to the dial colour as well?

I'd start with the two golds, where the clash is greatest, and see where it takes things. But yes, if you're going to make the movement aesthetically pleasing, then you should consider every aspect. I'm not saying that matching colours and materials is the only way to approach this, but with rose gold watches, I do think it would enhance the effect.
