    I like my Smiths but my IWC is something else,I’ve finaly cracked and put it on.

    I won’t set the date until morning so I don’t damage the mechanism.

    The only way to improve it [if that’s possible] is to bin the date and make it a hand winder.

    To who ever said it’s the entry level model,my answer is given by the French knights in Monty Python and the Holy Grail

    I changed jobs, which took me away from home.

    Too much health and safety for my liking now!
    Never had it back then, the job got done and everyone returned home safely.
    Some of my fondest memories were during those years
