    Income Omega DSOTM Pitch black

I have a thing for ceramic watches, its the OCD in me that loves how they still look new years later.

Previously i have owned an IWC Top Gun and Omega GSOTM. I always wanted to try a DSOTM and just recently purchased this Pitch black.

it differs from the standard dark side in a few ways, no red text, EVERYTHING is lumed, bezel, text on dial, crown etc, and a nice leather strap on a titanium and ceramic deployant. Also the dial is more matt than shiney.

im pretty happy with this one

Very nice. I've tried on the DSOTM several times and would love to try one. Very comfortable on the wrist too, and more subtle than the PCL's on my current watch

    That's flippin' great.
Is ceramic much more fragile, or does it take a fair knock to cause lasting damage?

Great bit of kit. Any chance of a picture of the case back when you get a chance? Also what comes in the box?

Sorry, I'm looking to get a speedy and currently trying to narrow done my options!

In my experience of ceramic it’s pretty much totally scratch resistant

It’s way harder than steel but more brittle so if you drop it from a height onto a tiled floor you may crack the case but that aside it’s nigh on impossible to mark

Great choice - nice to see something a little off-piste on the Omega front!

Like that a lot. Had the GSOTM myself and really liked it. Fancy trying a DSOTM variant at some point

Theres some pics/video iirc somewhere flying about , i think its an IWC top gun which was dropped from waist height on a tiled floor and shattered also i remember a 1000 m tuna shroud shattering easily .This is the only reason i avoid ceramic watches ..even though they look the dogs bol***s.

The black/black looks to be pointless imo.

That would light up a room! The amount of detail is pretty special.

Just checking - you have the DSOTM Pitch Black - not Black Black - they are different right?

Omega do produce some sweet lume these days:

yes pitch black is an odd name as its basically the original dsotm with way more lume, matt dial and no red text (and different strap)

the black black has black indices and lume and is virtually illegible! It looks cool though.
