Can't see anything, working for the MoD i'm pretty sure we're not going to be paying for expensive watches, especially since the current ones we supply you'd get change from a 20 probably!

You need to log in I think, it’s in the Gilles English talk on the account linked above. I agree though surprised the MOD would pay up for them. If it is true it would be worth a free supply from Bremont, great advert for any brand.

OMFG....No.......that means more hugely expensive limited editions then...
They have a programme set up for trades and specialist units who want to commission a build. Typically you need a minimum of 25 orders for them to take it on but they will create something bespoke at very sensible money. The idea is they get the exposure and marketing material to say they " supply " the RN Dive team /SAS/SBS and the lads get an awesome deal. Win win really. Theres a few at it, Christopher ward did one fir one of my pals in FDU-1

This is not a commission by the military and special projects team, he said supply to the MOD.
About 13 mins in, “exclusive provider to the MOD”

Apologies pal, got the wrong end of the stick. That is something special, does this mean CWC have lost the contract? They must have..... wow

Good on em.
Will they use their infamous in-house movement

Let's be honest, 80% of manufacturers are taking the mikey but watches are emotional purchases not logical ones. If they were wed all have Casio's. I suppose its a case of stack em high and sell em cheap. The civie stuff will be their profit maker but if their making a 1% mark up on the MOD stuff it can only make the business stronger and future proof them........ One things for sure, i wish i was still in

Good for them! Let’s support an English watch brand for a change. I know we are a self deprecating bunch but for once we should change our spots.
I'm not going to agree with that resort to patriotism. Why support a company just because it's based in the country in which one resides? I don't like their style of watches, I don't like their marketing strategies and they've been caught out before over exaggerating their achievements.
Promotion of Britishness is their main USP. If one buys into that great. I don't, based, I'll emphasize on their products and past behaviour. Have a look at their companies house records, they're funded by venture capitalists in the US and Virgin Islands.
I'll give them this, they're skillful marketeers with an ambitious plan to grow their company and profits. However for me the marketing flimflam is too close to the surface and they rely on it too much.
