Anybody with virgin media fibre - price rise etc

You maybe aware they are putting prices up?

I called them this morn as pay £22 a month for straight fibre with no phone etc

I’d been given the price a year ago
Should have been £27 so due to go to £29

Was transferred to a guy in Scotland who was decent

Agreed that I would now pay £23 to stay

In view of should have been £29 I’m happy enough

    Fast speed
    No hassle to change

It gives you the loophole to get out of your contract if you aren’t happy

The only lower price option was vodaphone whonim with for my mobile

They are offering £20 a month with a £9.99 set up
Probs a two year deal too

It’s a good time to bargain with them

Our contract is up next month so I guess I should call them soon to see what deal they can offer on the full bundle £103 per month at the moment.

I’ve been with them nine years now. Currently paying £76 per month and it’ll increase to £80 next month. I gave notice to leave a couple of years ago and they came back with a decent reduction. In truth, I really don’t need the landline or the television package. Time to ditch the things I don’t need.

I called to cancel, in the hope they would keep me as I am or offer something better.

He said no problem sir and paperwork is in the post

They did that once previously but called me back.

If they don't call by the first week of October I'll be looking at a new supplier
