Not yet, mine was also originally Manchester and they’ve allowed me to change to a more convenient AD

Good god man, the e-mail was only sent out a couple of weeks ago - the ST took nearly a year to appear.

You won't see one of these in 2018.

Also, with the ST I had it sent to the house, none of this go and collect rubbish.

Oh yes you will. Some people have already received theirs and the fist batch of watches have already arrived in the UK and will be available for collection this week. Apparently everyone on the list will have their watch by the end of the year. If you are on facebook follow the #speedytuesday group to see real world photos of it.

I have one reserved that I cannot justify the expense at the moment. Currently debating whether or not to take it and try to flip it for a modest profit (I know - shock horror) or just to cancel my order and save myself the stress.

Well redshovel above says he wanted one, sounds like a stress free transaction could be possible?

Only stress involved will be how much is exactly a modest profit for the seller who does not want the Watch and how much is the buyer prepared to pay over RRP to a flipper.

The guy dealing with the STs kept giving us dates and they were drip fed out over many months. I do hope Omega have got their act together then you all have the same chance of making a big fat profit.

By the time I got my ST you couldn't give the things away.

I learnt my lesson with the Speedy Tuesday. Until you can examine and wear a watch, you can't really be sure. I waited many months and then, when I finally got if, realised I didn't especially like it. To be fair, I made £1000 but I wouldn't buy unseen again, profit or no profit.

I think he still made around £1k profit, they could always be given away at decent profit.

Don't you only see that when you use the special torch?

I must agree though, It does look more like a splodge and less like ultraman

And even though its a "splodge" its meant to be there, so....

However, like always, some will like it, some wont, some wont care

It’s almost the entire subdial. Don’t think you need to have a macro lens to see it. Neat idea. Personally I don’t like it (the ultra man/splodge) but it’s a lovely watch overall

    I was being facetious,

in truth it really doesn't matter. its a great watch, with a gimmick, much like the tintin, people will hate or love it. to be honest, I would much rather they just re did the original from the program/film (seen pictures, looks cool with the orange hand)

im not a fan of ultraman, passed me by, im only 39, but im indifferent really. I wont be looking at getting one but it doesn't repulse me. personally I think there are far more watches out there that I would never entertain the idea of putting on my wrist, probably costing twice as much, but I don't think id waste my breath trying to highlight all the bits that I think are wrong.

I hope most if not all people getting them are doing so to keep, not to flip. im sure it wont be the case though

Well, I just got the call, mine's in London and available for collection.

It won't be anywhere near that. There was similar talk when the '57 Reissue was released (speculation of £7-8k) but they never went above £6k, and currently trade at or below RRP.

If you mean the 60th anniversary one they made 3,500-ish of those if memory serves, so less 'limited' than the Speedy Tuesday vs.1 / vs.2

    Hi,
Deliveries are starting this month. However your Speedy is still in production. September / October seems more like it. Please note that we will deliver all the way through November.
    Thank you.

According to the manager of the Omega Boutique I was just in, although not mentioned on the website, it also comes with a black leather strap as well. Still expensive mind.
