Are you into country music and often seen resplendent in double or triple denim?

LOL. No. I would definitely change the strap on the Omega.

Value-wise, the UN will tank but I think it is the best watch in your selection. I have a Dual time Manufacturer and it is a superb piece. Very very under-rated.

I had a close look at a Polaris Date (wanted a bracelet but not available at the time) recently. It left me with the same feeling I get when looking at IWC. I mean sexy watches in photos but always feel “light” and thin cased if that makes sense? The Polaris is also too wide and thick for my taste. Wears large. So wanted it to be right. Got the YM instead.

The other her two don’t run from for me I’m afraid

JD for me, just, over the Zenith -- attractive and different.

    JLC third.

All else being equal (cost, availability etc) I'd go for the JLC out of the ones you've presented us with...

I do really like the Polaris but in the flesh, as others have said it didn't leave me excited enough to spend the hard earned cash.

There's something about that Zenith though I'm really liking.

    What model is that please?

The Zenith with the second hand removed would be very hard to beat.

JLC Polaris for me. The dial colour on the Zenith is lovely but that second hand would do my nut in.

I don't know the sizes/specs etc, but on pure aesthetics from the pics I'd go for the JLC.

Zenith jumps out of that list. Though JLC close second with interesting complication.

The JLC for me. As Tony said, the omission of the Zenith second hand would make it a strong contender.

Done my own research! It's a Zenith Defy Classic.

A reasonable 41mm but some shots seem to show it with an oversized 'Defy' text on the dial.

If that's the case it would be a deal breaker for me.

I'd not the almost Gerald Genta inspired or Hublot-esque styled case is a nice compromise between the aforementioned designs whilst still being very wearable.

I don’t know if movements are your thing, but the in-house 898/1 in the JLC is very nice at that price level.

I’m a sucker for blue dials (non denim) so Zenith for me, but that JLC has looks good too

Bold angles and date feature are some of my favourite things on a watch - I say go Zenith, and consider getting the bracelet. I know blue leather is cooler than blue denim, but for me, strap tones down the angularity of the design, which I find unfortunate since it's so perfectly executed.

Purely aesthetically I'll surprise even myself and say the Jacquet Droz. Truth is, though, it's very much not worth buying new if there's even the smallest chance you'll ever sell.

Yeah JD makes absolutely beautiful stuff. I still really love the JD but has to be bought at the right price.

Yep - looks wise the JD provided you have others and want something different, otherwise for day to day the JLC but the Zenith be very close for me. I think it all depends what else you have to rotate with.

Having seen the Polaris last week, I would happily go for that, in blue! However, having tried the chrono and then WT and if having the funds, then either would be my choice. Both stunning.

Or the UN, if available in blue! They do blue so well.
