Anyone in or live in liverpool? (Champions League Final )

Fancy taking the family up tomorrow to see the tall ships and later on watch the final. Are there any big screens being put up in town? If not where is best to watch he final
With a 6 year old in tow?
Also best place to park in the area?

    Live or live in Liverpool?

    Not sure how that works,

    PS enjoy the game.

The Echo Arena have a few big screens lined up but they’ve sold out. Everywhere will have it on but it’s going to rammed no doubt. I think we’ll be watching in a few smaller, traditional pubs.

I’d probably avoid Concert Square with a little one in tow.

Liverpool One is best for parking.

The family of us 4 were supposed to be on the 9am flight to Athens this morning, and with a 3.5 hour drive the other end we’d make it comfortably to Stoupa for Kleftiko, and then to settle down at a bar with a Mythos it 3 to watch the match.

That is until BA denied us all boarding, as being half term they’d oversold the flight. Now I land in Athens at 6.45pm. KO is 9.45 pm Greek time, so I’m going to have to drive the hire car like I stole it.

    Come on you reds.

Isn’t he supposed to try and stop the ball?
He is almost as popular as Bale out here in Spain!

I think he was on comission from Madrid.

The rumour over here is that they signed him just before kick off!

If they had left him on the bench and played Mr Blobby in goal it would have been 1-1 and they would have stood a chance in extra time. I don't think Charlie Cairoli will be seen in a Liverpool shirt again

Klopp doesn't seem too good at winning finals.

I said to my lad this morning Ramos will take Salah out during the match. Wish I had put a bet on that.

Anyone notice what looked like a 5167 on the wrist of the dude putting the winning and losing medals around the players necks? (Was the highlight of the night).

True, he’s a sneaky bugger. However was this particular incident deliberate or just 50/50 hustle and bustle?

I’m in two minds about Karius. Sympathetic and somewhat surprised by the lack of visible consolation from his team mates. However, my sympathy is tempered because after his first howler he tried to claim that Benzema committed a foul which was so clearly not the case and a sneaky thing to do.

Wanted Liverpool to win, can’t stand Real Madrid and am glad Bale eclipsed Ronaldo.

The incident was quite deliberate. Ramos was always going to make it an uncomfortable evening for Salah. He clearly linked arms with him and took him to the ground.

My thoughts exactly he deliberately rolled him as said in commentary a nicely executed wrestling move and Ramos is the master of the foul completely changed the game and as to Karius we’ll just O Dear.

Ramos is the sort of person to switch off your life support machine so he could charge his phone.
