Hello John, Got a new motor ?

I’m in the market for a BMW e93 ‘vert.(330i/325i, Sat Nav, mem seats, etc)
I’ve looked at the traditional ‘go to’ AutoTrader, but my choice of fancy mean there are very limited numbers.
Also looked at BMW approved, Exhange & Mart, PistonHeads, but nothing pops up that meets my needs.

Can you recommend any other sites which I can keep an eye on.

    Thanks in advance.

Isn’t the e93 too old for used approved?

The main problem is that with bmw everything is an option which means that not only do you need a particular model but it has to have these options which makes it difficult to find exactly what you want.

When I got my f30 it took me over a year to find the right age, colour and options and even then I had to go with what I thought would likely be the best that came up.

So you will have to compromise and be prepared to wait.

Theres a few on the BMW site, but not the spec that I’m looking for.
Last car I bought was 15 yrs ago from BCA (auction).
Was trying to capture AutoTrader style sites that feature Traders as well as Private sales.

    Thanks for the tip.

When I got mine I used Autotrader, the BMW approved used site and those free car magazines that you pick up at supermarkets. I personally found Ebay so-so.

I also had qualms about travelling but I think for the right car be prepared to travel.

I live in NW London, my previous car I picked up from South London as I was only looking local to me. When buying my wifes car which is a common bog standard Yaris I started looking locally then widened my search and eventually picked hers up from Oxford. My F30, again I looked locally but then widened the search and eventually travelled to Manchester to get it. My sons car we went to Bristol.

So don't be put off by distance as I used to be.

This is the first time I’m going for a spec’d car and so I do know that I will have to travel to find the right motor.
Gumtree & Ebay have too many chancers, looking to either scam you with poor car, or rob you of your money, so staying well clear unfortunately. At the moment Traders are looking as a likely safe bet as you can with cars.

A lot of traders use eBay so don't write it off, but obviously do your researc.
