Returning a watch to a Chrono 24 seller

I'm considering purchasing a watch advertised on C24 by a German dealer.

I just wanted to ask whether any body had been in the situation where they weren't happy with a watch they had received from a foreign dealer and what method of shipping they had used to return it.

The watch value is about £4k, so I can't post RMSD.
Does C24 provide any assistance in return shipping?

I can't see any reference to return shipping in C24's FAQ's so thanks to anybody who can offer advice on this.

    Adam.

Guess the best thing would be to ask the dealer as you are buying from them not Chrono 24.

You can return via DHL. Chrono24 does not help.
Insurance is 1% of declared value. Not cheap but it gives you full coverage.
Obviously the key thing is to get all the assurance you need before you buy. So ask for all the pics etc you need. I also did some videos when I sold which I think also helps a lot rather just still pics (which are useful as you can zoom in) as you can see if anything is ‘hidden’.
Also as ever buy the seller. Talk to them up front and get comfortable with how realistic they are on descriptions and get clarity on returns policy.
Basically do all your due diligence before you pay !
