Hi, I’m getting an error logging into the forum via Tapatalk. Logging in via the website works fine. Anyone else experiencing the same?
Serves me right for answering ‘Tapatalk’ every time someone asks how to post pictures.

Me too. However, I have noticed that its only affecting me on this particular forum, I use Tapatalk to log onto other forums and am not having an issue there.

Thanks all. I can also log into other forums via Tapatalk OK. Not a problem now I know it is a general issue, I’ll use the website and try Tapatalk again in a day or two.

Tapatalk not working for me either
They have a history of having one version of Tapatalk going for free, then having a paid version with more features. And then gradually phasing out the free one for the paid version. And then the paid version gets another paid version with more features, so they disable some of the features on the older one.
It was cheap (79p I think a while back) but I refuse to buy it again now given their history.
The TZ app works perfectly for me (usually) so no need for Tapatalk. Personally, the other forums I'm on have excellent web versions that really mean Tapatalk is pointless for my use.

Exactly this. Paid once and begrudge paying again. Lump in ads and the realisation that my forum habits are a data mining opportunity for tapatalk and I’m no longer feeling it’s a worthwhile exchange.
First time I've had any problems with Tapatalk but I can't get logged in either.
Hopefully it comes back up as it's easily the most straightforward way for posting pictures.
Me too. Made me realise how much I look at tapatalk at work on my phone!
I have to confess, I purely use it to upload photos.
Hence no photos since it developed this problem.
Interesting to note all my other forums work fine on Tapatalk?!

I’ve been logged out of the site a couple of times whilst clicking through to posts (on internet on iPad) and the browser bar has site not secure in red on it too. Something else going on or just me?

Just tried again and it said to contact forum admin, and sent me to TZ.

I'm getting similar on TZ-UK app on mobile - every couple of tries it asks for login details, other times it seems to login but when you click on a forum i.e. George & Dragon - it just says "no results".
Working fine on my laptop though.....

Accessing via web is fine.
AFAIK TZ-UK has never used https so no need for a cert.
All your passwords will be sent clear text, don't use your TZ-UK password elsewhere, if you do change it to be unique.

There was another Tapatalk update yesterday and I installed it as I have the previous 18 updates. Tapatalk is a third party addon to the vBulletin software and has been problematic in the past. If it continues to give problems I'll ditch it altogether, I don't have the time to try to fix something only Tapatalk can fix.
I've rolled back to the previous working version, hopefully it's now OK. I can't check because I don't use Tapatalk, I only access the forum via a desktop PC.

Tapatalk development is pretty rubbish, I used to report bugs/problems to their forums but either they go unanswered or no problem found even though others then report the same or they fix the problem in some half arsed way or they fix this problem but then a previous bug comes back.
So i no longer bother.
Well, I'm using the Android TZ-UK app and it's a '+' sign to add photos, movies, etc. This is why links to images are often seen on this forum, rather than the actual image itself - everyone has the same problem.
