Did they pick Baume to somehow take advantage of the Baume & Mercier brand name ? Bad!
I like the way you can configure - if only Tudor et al would allow the same, but using any combination of available dials, movements, bezels, bracelets etc.
It's just a matter of time...
Baume was a brand on it’s own well before it became Baume and Mercier. I have a classically styled Baume 14ct gold watch which was my first ever gold watch.
Regarding these new ‘offerings’............

It’s a classic Marketing positioning technique!
It isn’t a brand for WIS but for the Daniel Wellington crowd and hence I do not understand why people on here are surprised that they don’t like the offerings.

The lugs remind me of the Hermes Arceau collection. Don't think the Baume name is particularly elegant either...
