And they are smiling??
In our regional newspaper:
40 miles to the east in the small town of Rijssen, a young family didn't live alone under their roof... The owners noticed that there were wasps flying in and out under the roof tiles. A blast with powder didn't help. A professional had to try twice (with 3 days in between) to kill the wasps. Just to be sure, the owner removed the plasterboard ceiling and they found....
This! According to sources the biggest ever in the Netherlands. Guinness Book of Records perhaps?
And they are smiling??
The owners wife looks quite hot.......
I had a wasps nest in my garden a few years back, the interesting thing was you could stand next to it and they’d totally ignore you. They’d all have an arrow straight flight path until they were quite a way clear of the nest. I’d often stand there and watch them in action. I assumed at the time they are programmed not to 5hit on their own doorstep? They didn’t bother me in the garden or anything.
Went out one day and the whole nest was dead, wasp parts littered on the floor below. I split the nest open and found a couple of battered (but still alive) Hornets. They’d gone in and wiped the whole nest out!
Wow, quite a nest. I'm scared of wasps after my incident 2 years ago. I was doing some garden work and started to smash up a concrete path with a sledge hammer. Within seconds a huge swarm of wasps can out the ground and flew at me, I instantly heard them coming at me and legged it the 100 ft to the house...they got in my tshirt and I got stung 6 times but I was very lucky, could have been a lot worse. I hate wasps.
If it ain’t Dutch it ain’t much.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
There’ll be a sting in the tail here I think. Time to buzz off????
