    Where the fk did that mainspring land ?

    And found this at the junk market there:


    70s Derby Swissonic alarm clock. 7 euros including a fresh AA battery and off it went !

    It does also look a bit like JC has come out with a "Surprise!". Whose that by, it's a bit Titian but only Titian on a bad day.

    That painting is a decent depiction of my search for a reverser wheel the other day. Jesus didn't appear, despite invoking his name several times.

    I have to admit that a cannon pinion from a ladies Piaget flew from my tweezers the other week. I have a round magnet about 4 inches in diameter from a 1950s TV. As I was hoovering it round the floor I prayed earnestly and when I examined the magnet the pinion was attached to it !!
    Phew !! Only other choice would be to make one.
    I'm now planning to join a Monastery....
