Thread: Moth eggs

    Moth eggs

Stood waiting for the local Carnival to kick off today taking shade with the dogs in the bus shelter, noticed on the shelter to the side a large number of these moths and most were laying eggs in there. Got to say it kind of grossed me out a little as the eggs look similar to Lotus seed pods however, very clever how they've followed the drilling of the shelter

I've searched all the usual sites and I can't identify this one? It doesn't look exotic but I can't match the markings to anything.

    Superb photo though

Could it be Calliteara pudibunda or the Pale Tussock Moth?
