I quite like this one
What pieces of Design do you love? It doesn’t have to be anything classic like a piece of Corbusier furniture or a Foster building. It could just be an Everyday jug from Ikea.
I love the Eames chair.
I quite like this one
Fas est ab hoste doceri
Ssangyong Rodius, what an epic design.
Vulcan bomber

In every passing interest I tend to locate what to my eye is the optimal design of both style and function...a few notable mentions:
Chemex Coffee Maker
Lamy 2000 Fountain pen
BMW Z3M Coupe
Both in my pocket every day . . .
F.T.F.A.
(Colt) Model 1911 (and all variants) pistol
Walther PPK/s pistol
SME Model V tonearm
Rob.
Kirkbride designed asylums are fascinating. Like bats.

Lots of things - Fender Stratocaster, Zippo Lighter, Bialetti moka pot, Vespa PX... but top of the heap has to be a simple HB pencil - never bettered.
Vw beetle (the old one...)
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
The B&W M1
I've tried to find the designer's name but no luck. It's not the looks that make it a perfect design, although it does look good. It's the, well, the design. Much of its genius is hidden, but this is an incredibly well thought out and executed item.
Brompton. Beautiful. Genius. Practical. Functional. British.

Hi-Fi is / was another hobby of mine and there are some truly stunning speaker designs.
MBL for sheer batsh1t insanity
Fujitsu from a design point of view
But B&W's iconic nautilus is the whole package for me...
Clark’s desert boot, ray ban aviators and wayfarers. The original Porsche speedster and the original beetle. Probably loads more but my minds gone blank!
One that I use every day is the iPhone - much maligned by some but I have always admired their form factor and packaging. Johnny Ive grew up near me too so maybe it’s a ‘Chingford’ thing!?

8 in 1 ring spanner. A whole set in one small package. I’ve had one for 15 years now and wouldn’t be without it.
A good few things, but off the top of my head....
Leica M
Oakley M Frames
e-type Jaguar
Guggenheim Bilbao
Supermarine Spitfire
Swiss Army Knife
Toblerone
Arne Jacobsen Series 7

The P51 for me
The prototype was designed and built in 102 days. It went on to become a war winner and was still in service in the 1980s
Pilot M90 fountain pen. I like the integrated nib and simplicity but make do with a Parker 25 which I have had for 30 years.
Roulette toaster which is very industrial looking and without fancy lights or switches.
The most beautiful sports car ever:
Sony SW1

A palm sized Short Wave radio which, before the internet, would keep you in touch with what was going on anywhere you travelled.
EDIT: Still have mine if anyone knows a repairer.

Vintage Rayban Wayfarers and Persol Ratti
Alpha industries MA1 jacket
Clark’s desert boots
Marcello Nizzoli, better known perhaps for the Necchi Mirella sewing machine, also designed this:
The Olivetti Lettera 22. Just looking at it invokes the desire to type something beautiful.
For buildings has to be Gaudi's casa Batlló - the interior is just as whacky as the exterior...
and carwise has to be the decap version of the DS i have... a '67
Good taste sir.
The Riva is lovely but so is the modern version:
