    Very nice Paul.

Is that the strap it came on?

It looks more Perlon than Nato?

    Cheers,

No Adam it's an old Perlon that i had in my box already, the perlon I had pre purchased for this did'nt look right (too close knit). This is only just long enough so more purchasing required.

Good to see some wrist shots. I couldn't decide which I liked best, thought it was the black but I'm less sure now.

Just ordered another 100 of the Air Ministry. Had to order 300 cases but can only fill 100 of them because of a shortage of movements.

These photos make the dial seem whiter than on the website, where it seems more creamy, almost yellowish.

Out in the daylight it does appear quite white, But inside its more of a cream colour.

No one with a black dial to show us?

What a perfect result,2 very handsome, practical watches,no silly waiting lists and people wearing them the next day.

I am trying very hard to resist, I sold a lot of my watches because I have to many but the numbers increased since then.

Mine arrived at the office this afternoon but I had to wait until now to open the box. Here is a quick and dirty pic, I will take some more tomorrow with a better light.

Is that a brown Perlon? Looks great. I think either Perlon or vintage leather in brown is where i will end up.

Back to the subtle creamy look in you picture.

The evidence suggests that the PRS-29AM orders were shipped yesterday. I think maybe the PRS-29 black dials might follow soon.

But I'm happy to be corrected! I'd love to see the new black dial version in the hands and on the wrist of new owners.

You and me both. I ordered both, and as much as I'm loving the look of the AM, I'm really looking forward to seeing the black in the flesh. Although must admit given the stock images, and what has been posted today, I'm hoping the dial gives off a bit more than purely black. In the shop photos it seems to take on blue hues which just looks amazing.

I'm still waiting for my AM to be shipped, but I'm not sure what order they are processed. I ordered mine at 7.30am as the shop opened, so if it was by who ordered first, I would have expected it to have been shipped by now

The orders are shipped in the order that they are received, regardless of what's on the order. I've shipped 41 orders so far. Cut-off time at the post office is 1645 hrs so I get there by 1615 hrs (I was at the counter for 25 minutes this afternoon and I could feel the daggers in my back from the queue behind me). I start work at 0600 hrs which is plenty early enough for an old fart well past retirement age.

As I stated earlier in this thread, there were 70 of the PRS29 ordered in the first 2 hours plus other watches and straps, 174 orders in total before I closed the shop.

    Just curious?

I think that Eddie's new release is by far an excellent specimen however I with my 7.5" wrist cannot see a 36mm with a 18mm strap. I have attempted to wear watches as such in the past and just cannot get away with it. My only hopes and prayers at the moment are for somehow a "air ministry" 40 mm with a 20 mm strap size to become a reality. You knocked this one out of the park Eddie, great job Sir.

Just collected mine, the black dial one (pics to follow). It is really nice watch and fits perfectly my wrist, maybe 20 mm width lugs would have been a better choice.

A quick question: I supposed the crown was screwed, while it is just a normal pressure one (I mean no screwdown crown): is it normal ?
    Thanks
    Engi

Yes, that is normal. I wouldn’t want a screw down crown on a manual winding watch, myself.

There is of course the 39mm PRS-29B to cater for those who prefer a slightly larger variation. No longer in production alas, but they do come up for sale occasionally.
