    Which watch?

Went to Leeds today looked at the Tudor GMT although not in the flesh and the seamaster blue face smp both around the £2900 mark. The seamaster can be bought for approx £2500 I doubt any deals on the Tudor. What would people buy?

    I'd buy the blue Pelagos.

    SMP from £2,237

No idea what price the Tudor is, but no doubt a fair bit more.

The obvious answer is if is if you want a GMT, then buy the Tudor.

Personnally, I think the SMP is a current sports watch bargain - a simple adjustable clasp upgrade makes it the perfect watch for me.
It's just a matter of time...

£2237? Where is this available. I am paying on a credit card with a plan to pay it off over 18 months 0%.

I thought the residuals would be really good on the Tudor with it being new and a wait

I wouldn't be buying either on the basis of residuals - neither are great in that regard. Only a few select watches consistently hold or gain in value.

Buy what your heart wants or you'll never be happy.

Chronext with my £100 off voucher. They even have a delivery date of May stated on that model. The replacement will be much more and doesn't look as good!

At that price a used one isn't much less.

Tudor, I'd buy at an airport, or in a sale at the minute. There are no great deals to be had at present.

The GMT will likely be a hot watch for a few months after launch, but so were lots of others that are readily had, like the green Milgauss GV and 42mm EXPII just after they launched.
