Black Spot Remover - Natural Stone

    Chaps.

Area has been down four years and apart from a couple of pressure washers a year it has remained looking bloody good. However over the winter it has taken a big hit from black spot.

There are loads of products out there that seem to do the job but before I part with hard earned has anyone had fantastic results with any product

I tried all sorts but found the only thing that worked was Dettol mould and mildew remover.

Only thing I found that removed them was household bleach, couldn't believe it after trying even brick cleaner that wouldn't shift them.
One to one bleach to water, in a bucket and brush it over, keep area wet for a good couple hours, mine then was clear.
Worked for the black spots I had on my slabs anyway. Good luck.

A fair few, but it goes a lot further than you’d imagine. I tried bleach but had no joy. Perhaps I didn’t leave it long enough. This is really strong stuff and worked in a few minutes. I did it a couple of years ago and there’s no sign of it returning yet.

There’s a cleaner you can get in costco called wet it and leave it - or similar - that seems to do a good job!

We use Red Label both on the patio and decking, normally a 1/3 to 2/3 mix in a watering can with a rose, then a stiff broom. Be aware that this will bleach anything you wear and kill the grass etc,

You could use a higher concentrate for stubborn marks.
