I have now ordered a lens kit for the phone but was wondering if anyone uses a light box / tent to get such great pictures?

It's not a great picture, but for my shot in post *43 I balanced the iPhone at the required height for focus, used the self timer to take the shot, and as the timer was counting down used a sheet of white A4 in each hand to reflect the light to where I wanted it.

^^^ I'd say it was a great picture, given the equipment used.

As an aside, which iPhone was it?

Ok, that’s really helpful, thank you... but a great picture if I may say so.

I have seen some cheap (less than a tenner) light boxes with built in LED lights... but a sheet or 2 of A4 sounds none to complicated. I presume you were using a tripod of some sort, unless you have a steady hand?

Apologies, just re read your post, balanced the phone. No tripod then, very impressive.
