Automatic watches vary in accuracy. Without knowing how accurate or inaccurate each is it’s impossible to say if the CW has an issue or not.

Quartz or automatic or manual?
How old are they?
When were they last serviced?
How many seconds does one lose/gain per day, and how many does the other, and how are you measuring this?
Christopher Ward. Only a year old

All automatic my ginault I can live with. But a certified chronometer which should be +-5 secs per day I think I have a problem and my ginault has 40 + hour life amazing

I have one chronometer certified Watch (SMPc), and three non chronometer, all my Watches are under 14 months old, my chronometer Watch is the worst time keeper at plus five secs per day, but was plus ten when i bought it new last year from the AD
The non chronometer Watches are (Hamilton Khaki plus two) (Seiko skx009 not timed but i know its plus three at the most) (Omega Speedmaster Pro plus five)
The best time keeping mechanical automatic i ever owned was a Breitling Chronomat with an in-house B01 movement, i checked the time and adjusted it monthly when it had strayed two or three seconds fast, and i sold it, work that out :-)

If you are unhappy I would just pop it off to CW. Their 50/50 warranty is really rather good and since it’s only a year old they should regulate it for you. The suddenness of the change in accuracy could mean its magnetized / you had it near any speakers or the like?

No I am very careful with my watches

It might be easier for people to help you if you were a bit more forthcoming with information and detail, OP.

There's nothing to explain here, surely?
The specific on the wrist accuracy of any given movement is luck of the draw. COSC or manufacturer guarantee should ensure the stated range but there's no reason why any given watch, no matter the price or movement (within reason), shouldn't be exceptionally accurate. Ginault use cloned ETAs, which are more than capable of superb accuracy.
