    Beautiful half hunter just arrived from USA.

    Another example from my modest collection.....




    This one is running well. Gave it a wind 45 mins ago, and now showing the correct time! (Well it was when I took the shot. Time-lapse was trying to remember how to post pics!).

    And 23 years later another cataclysm !
    It breaks my heart to know the loss of life.
    Those trench watches carry a heavy price .

    Me too. Especially when they are engraved.
    I had a 1914 centre seconds trench Stauffer et Cie engraved Captain James Allworthy RAMC. £2 Portobello Market 1975.

    I had just opened my shop, had little stock so put it in the window at the ridiculous price of £350.00. A guy bought it next day ! I was gutted and delighted !
