I really enjoy the Watch Finder channel, quality videos, good stories and interesting / beautiful watches.

I'm finding myself turning to YouTube for entertainment and diversion more often recently and have started adding subscriptions to channels that cover topics which interest me.
Which would you recommend for watch-related content?
Thanks in advance.

Best: Bruce Williams - excellent content/production/enthusiasm
Worst: The Urban Gentry/TGV - conceited pretentious tw*t

I really like ablogtowatch, watchreport and wornandwound.
I enjoy the watchfinder videos.
Watched a tgv video yesterday felt the guy was a little pretentious.
This comes up quite regularly these days. For me, Tim Mosso at 'watchbox studios' is in a league of his own in terms of sheer knowledge. He also covers a far, far, greater range of watches. The show is paid for by Govberg jewellers, but it is still pretty open in its views.
The advantage is simple.....money for good production. That's what is usually lacking. The Watch finder little features are well-made , but pretty limited in scope. As for the rest, it's free.......but generally lacking in much obvious insight. They don't seem to know any more than the rest of us.
There are a couple of watchmaking orientated channels I follow on youtube:
- Watch Repair Channel by Mark Lovik, which has outstanding content, with full step by step strip down and services of many movements.
- Dean DK - he is a student at the BHI and I like to keep up with what he is doing (I am going through the same challenges!).
- rwsmithwatches - probably needs no introduction, some great watchmaking videos there of processes that are not that widely documented on the web.
- Steffen Pahlow - another amazing "old school" watchmaker
I find urban gentry quite informative and less annoying than most.
Archie Luxury is very unfiltered and entertaining.
Wow, completely see where you're coming from on Mark Lovick. These sorts are things are as much about how they are presented as they are about informative and interesting content and I was irritated within the first 15 seconds.
My favourite is also Watchfinder...
I do like ArchieLuxury, but only because that goon’s voice makes my eleven month old son laugh.

Thanks all. A few there to check and add to my subscriptions.
Maybe I should clarify! I watched it once, not knowing that it was a horological profanosaurus, but the guy’s voice made the lad laugh. Since then, for a cheap laugh, either I, or for greater comic effect, my wife, speak the words ‘Archie Luxury’ in our best impression.
I’m not one to boast but if it were a radio channel, either of us could pass for him.
For pure entertainment value, Archie Luxury has actually grown on me recently.
Really didn’t like him for a long time, but he seems to have become a caricature of himself. He’s an acquired taste though, f**ckers!!😀😀
Just found WatchAndListenPodcast -channel.
First episode was ok and just starting to watch the second.
Archie is fun but if I recall right there is the rakuten channel with sexy videos of their japanese watches it's pure porn
The obviously you can see my incredible watch tests... on lamiatriumph channel
0_0 ciao
Just viewed about a dozen Watchfinder videos on YouTube (over the past week).
These are really good.

I find page and cooper like a father and son show. To many baby faced blogger types fresh out of sixth form .
I like Bruce Williams and Random Rob , plenty of well rounded reviews.
I quite like ‘take time with Patrick Marlett’ who was/is part of 10:10 tock formerly known as properly wound or Clock stock and wound with his chum
Archie is just total brand snob and if it ain’t the three trinity pieces ; Rolex explorer 2 , speedmaster man on the effinn moon and a jlc reverso he pretty much defaults to dismantling most Watch brands especially his rival TGV’s darling Squale brand ! I don’t really like his reviews as they are not reviews really .
I like TGV although he’s trying to be the every chap you just know he’s peering down his beak at everyone .
I like Nick Shabazz for his woody Allen of WISworld humour .

You'l find that 'Watchbox studios' covers more brands, with more knowledge, than any other YouTube offering. The nearest competitor, I think, is Watchfinder, but it handles far fewer watches.
What both have in common is.....money. Both are owned by well-financed companies, which allows better production values. It shows.
My favourite is Federico talks watches. Tim mosso is great too,the man is a walking encyclopaedia
