Can't do any swaps but if you get the whole set you might want to hang on to it.

A lad at work just sold his Italia '90 Panini collection for £900 on eBay. It was a complete set with backs still on the stickers so quite a rarity, but I'd never thought they'd be worth that much.

Wow that's some price I don't think this will ever raise that sort of price when finished but you never no in nearly 30 years time lol

My friend has started his book and seems to be getting more and more obsessed with it with each passing day. I think he enjoys it more than the tournaments themselves. Oh well, if he can get that much enjoyment out of something relatively cheap while I rely on cars and watches for the same please then more power to him!

My boy's collecting them as well so if I get a chance at the weekend I'll have a look through his swaps pile and see if there's any there on your list.

Expensive 80p for 1 pack and you get 5 stickers and you don't get many shinnys

Oh that is expensive, I think a similar pack was around 10-20p the last time I collected!

And if you go WAY back they were football cards not stickers. Nice thick cardboard and you got a bit of bubble gum too

Jeez that's expensive! And 600+ to collect???

I do have some mates going through a mid-life crisis** who've bought this years album, the last one I had was probably '98. Stickers were 20p a pack with one "shiny" and one oversize (half a squad shot usually) in every pack.
I seem to recall there was a competition running where some of the sticker-backs gave you a free McDonalds chips, drink or burger.

Plus the shop near school had a proper miserable old bloke running it who sold multi-pack crisps and cans at normal price. No-one liked him and he didn't like anyone.
There were quite a few packs of stickers left there with no money changing hands allegedly.

**that was a joke by the way, I actually think it's a pretty good way to get familiar with the teams before the tournament starts.

They had a stand in Canary Wharf today simply giving away the Albums, no stickers, just the Albums.
They had 1000s, but this didn’t stop pushing and shoving from fat Banker boys to get chubby handfuls of em!
