My Sister just phoned to say that someone had told her that her 1970’s mechanical Ingersoll fob watch is now really rare and worth around £350... does anyone here know if this is true?
Thanks in advance 6ad51176-9491-4975-a94c-348301f77b26.jpgcaeb6ae4-a1bc-4cc0-ad30-a4c79e2d37c4.jpg

I must have got ripped off. I paid £7 for a Timex version in a charity shop.
I purchased this for £8.50 but then sent the charity £15.00 as i expected it would sell for more than i paid

Usually repairable. Nurses seem to prefer quartz versions probably because they don't have the time to wind up mechanical ones ! And a bit scary if wind ups go mad fast !!
£7.00 is about right from charity shops.

Thanks for the info... I didn't think they were worth much, but she had some guy tell her that they are worth good money as there aren't many of that exact model left.
