4 years after the watch was introduced? Has Dave spent all his $1.6m on hookers already?

Also, all the space references in the speech by the judge is a bit tacky, suggests he wasn't taking it seriously.

Standard American behaviour... Ooops, I have no money. Now, let me think; who can I sue and for what?

What is this a reference to? Did he have a precious relationship with the company?

He sold the original Bulova moon watch for $1.6m, it is what prompted Bulova to make the reissue.

    Edit: $1.3m apparently.

Yep Dave Scott who tried to cash in on his Apollo mission by selling the smuggled 400 first day covers he took to the moon. Compare and contrast with Mr. Armstrong.

Ah, I didn't know this one, had to Google it. Seems Dave has form for cashing in.

    Debatable whether anything was “smuggled”
